Changing Firmware on Printer​

Issue Encountered​

As stated, I have tried to change the Firmware on my printer. However, every single time I attempt to do so, it does not load up to the printer.

Solution Steps​

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1.

Check your current firmware version​

- Verify that the current firmware version is Firmware ju05ia (5-10-2018) in the Wic Reset Utility.

Download Firmware​

- Download the firmware from the following link: XP340_FWG016TL_MJ07I3_MJ99Z9.zip

3.

Upload Firmware to Printer​

- Make sure to upload the downloaded firmware to the printer in NORMAL mode.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully change the firmware on your printer.
