Question​

Daft question I know, but do i buy the US$35 firmware which then means my Epson WF3725 printer will no longer recognize the cartridge's ink chip print count and that means i can stick a syringe in my existing empty printer cartridge and refill it??

Answer​

Or do i need to buy a special chipless cartridge to be able to have refills?
Please explain anything i am missing, sorry couldn't find the answers i needed on the board!

Solution​

Yes. If You buy WF3725 Activation Key and flash chipless firmware - your printer will not require ink cartridges any more.
So You can do what you want - install kiss or refill cartridges.
