Troubleshooting the Newest Epson Firmware Update Issue
Description of the Problem
The newest Epson firmware update (Ver CL27J9) has caused the printer to not recognize previously acceptable cartridges. When attempting to enter Update mode and connect the USB cable to a Dell laptop running Windows 10, the connection is not established. Disabling the WiFi connection did not resolve the issue.Troubleshooting Steps
1. Check USB Recognition: Is the USB device unrecognized by the system, recognized incorrectly, or are appropriate drivers unavailable?2. Change USB Cable and Port: Try using a different USB cable and connecting to a different USB port on the laptop.
If the issue persists after following these troubleshooting steps, additional solutions may be necessary.
